PHILOSOPHY
Family Services of Chemung County, Inc. (FSCC) is a not-for-profit agency, dedicated to serving the needs of the mental health community with personal and ethical treatment provided by a responsive and dedicated staff. The FSCC Mental Health Clinic (MHC) operates under a license from the New York State Office of Mental Health.
Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Services includes therapeutic strategies such as support, psycho-education, crisis intervention, case management, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual, group and family therapies in a safe environment.
PROGRAM SERVICES
Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) through the FSCC MHC, offers an individualized, short term program designed to:
Consumers must be at least 18 years of age.
REFERRALS AND ADMISSION
Any individual in need of Mental Health IOP services may be referred to our program at 737-2490 for an intake evaluation. Any referring agency may use the same process. Family Services works in cooperation with established treatment resources in the community to benefit the consumer's individual direct service needs.
Intake evaluations are provided on a daily basis. Admission is determined through a multi-disciplinary team assessment. All services are voluntary.
